NOMINATIONS FOR CRPNM AWARDS FOR 2012

Nominations for Awards for Excellence in Psychiatric Nursing Leadership/Administration, in Clinical Practice, in Education and in Research are now being accepted. The deadline for such nominations is February 29, 2012. The Awards will be presented in conjunction with the 2012 CRPNM Annual General Meeting.

These awards were established to honour Registered Psychiatric Nurses who have demonstrated excellence in their area of psychiatric nursing practice and have made outstanding contributions to the field of mental health and the profession of Psychiatric Nursing.

At least one of the nominator or seconder must be a Registered Psychiatric Nurse. An outline of the rationale for the nomination must be included with the nomination form.  The nominee’s cv is often also very helpful in support of the nomination.

Nominations will also be accepted for a special award for non-RPNs who have made an outstanding contribution to the profession and/or to mental health in Manitoba.
