We acknowledge that Manitoba is on the original lands of the Dakota, Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, Dené, Inuit and Métis Nation. We acknowledge that the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba is located on Treaty One territory. We respect the Treaties that were made on these territories, and we acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past. We dedicate ourselves to moving forward in partnership with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.

Some students who have completed the program chose not to apply to the Graduate register. You are not required to register as a Graduate Psychiatric Nurse but you will not be able to practice until you have completed and passed the RPNCE and are on the Registered Psychiatric Nurse register.

Once you have passed the RPNCE, you will be eligible for the Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) register. You will need to apply to the Registered Psychiatric Nurse register within four (4) years of completing the psychiatric nursing education program to remain eligible.

Please contact the CRPNM if you wish to discuss the registration options and to request the Practising Registration Application form.
