RPNs in Practice

Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPNs) work with clients whose primary care needs are related to mental health, addictions, and neurodevelopmental disabilities.

Their education and experience prepares psychiatric nurses to recognize the complex relationship between emotional, developmental, physical and mental health – as well as the role that social factors, culture and spirituality play in illness and recovery.

Learn more about the many ways RPNs contribute to the health of our community and meet Hillary Mills, RPN and Calvin Barbour, RPN who were featured in the WRHA’s In the Spotlight (Spring, 2019) during Nursing Week.
